After many (many!) years of writing for and in business, during her career in marketing and commercial management, Joanna was drawn to trying out some more creative writing around 2 years ago.
Finding the entire process thoroughly enlightening and therapeutic, Joanna’s works tend to be inspired by spiritual reflection, life memories and every day events, being presented in both poetry and prose formats.
Some of Joanna’s early works can be found in the collective book ‘Voices of Barnard Castle: Vol 1’, available to buy on Amazon, as well as local book shops.
Originally from Yorkshire, Joanna has lived around the UK and abroad, settling in Barnard Castle in 2014 with her family.
Joanna runs her own marketing consultancy business offering support for businesses across the northeast of England and beyond.
