Barnard Castle Writing Group is putting on its own “mini” literary festival later this year.
The members have always wanted to promote writing and writers in Barnard Castle and beyond, and through this event we hope to do exactly that.
The day is set for Saturday 28th November 2026 with venues to be confirmed. There will be workshops, a panel with local writers for a question and answer session, the opportunity to read out your own work at an open mic and also a book launch for one our members latest books.
